Letter from the President
The Bible is a collection of writings that reveal God’s love, mercy, justice, and plan for humanity. As the inspired Word of God, the Bible speaks to every person in every age with wisdom, truth, and authority. In a world filled with confusion, the Bible provides clear guidance for life. As President, I want to share what the Bible has to offer on several important topics.
On Leadership
The Bible has much to say about leadership, offering timeless principles for anyone called to govern a country, community, or family. True leaders are servant-leaders who humbly steward the authority entrusted to them (Mark 10:42-45). They pursue justice, love mercy, and walk wisely before God and others (Micah 6:8). Godly leaders rule with wisdom and prudence (Proverbs 8:14-16), seek wise counsel (Proverbs 15:22), and lead with integrity and honesty (Psalms 78:72). They care for the poor and vulnerable (Psalms 82:3-4). The Bible commends leaders who rule justly and lead their people in the ways of the Lord (2 Samuel 23:3-4). As President, I endeavor to exemplify these biblical ideals of godly leadership.
On Human Dignity
Every human being bears the imprint of God and has innate worth and dignity (Genesis 1:26-27). We are created as equals, and no one has the right to exploit or oppress another human being. God hears the cries of the oppressed and calls on leaders to defend the vulnerable (Psalms 82:3-4). Bigotry and prejudice have no place in a just society. We must promote human dignity and work to overcome racism and injustice. The Bible envisions a world where all people are treated with respect as beloved children of God (Galatians 3:28). As President, I am committed to defending human dignity and ensuring equal rights and protections under the law for all people.
On the Poor and Vulnerable
The Bible consistently calls us to care for the poor and defend the vulnerable in society. God desires justice for the orphan, the widow, the immigrant, and the oppressed (Deuteronomy 10:18). Those who have plenty must be openhanded to the poor (Deuteronomy 15:11). We cannot close our eyes to the plight of the needy (Proverbs 21:13). God hears their cries and will hold nations accountable for how they treat the most vulnerable members of society (Psalms 12:5). As President, I believe we have a moral duty to lift up the poor, reform injustices, and ensure opportunity for all. We must be a society that cares for the “least of these” as though caring for Jesus himself (Matthew 25:31-46).
On Stewardship
The Bible teaches that the earth and everything in it belong to God (Psalms 24:1). As His stewards, we are entrusted to responsibly manage the resources He has provided. This requires wisdom and unselfishness (Matthew 25:14-30). We must avoid short-term thinking and seek the flourishing of future generations (Psalms 78:5-7). God calls us to pursue justice, sustainability, and righteous living in how we use the gifts we have been given. As President, I am committed to responsible stewardship of our nation’s resources, equity in access to opportunity, and care for our shared environment. We must be faithful stewards of God’s good gifts.
On the Family
God designed the family as the fundamental building block of society. The Bible provides instruction for healthy marriage and family relationships. Husbands must love their wives sacrificially (Ephesians 5:25). Wives should respect their husbands (Ephesians 5:33). Children are to honor and obey their parents (Ephesians 6:1-3). And parents must not provoke their children to anger but raise them in the discipline of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). When families thrive according to God’s design, societies flourish. So we must enact policies that strengthen families. This includes protecting religious freedom, preserving the sanctity of life, and upholding the institution of marriage between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24). As President, I am committed to supporting families and pursuing policies that enable them to thrive.
On Education
The Bible affirms the value of wisdom, knowledge, and learning (Proverbs 4:5-7). A righteous nation pursues policies that create opportunity through access to education. God gave us minds to cultivate reason, discernment, and creativity. Education enhances human flourishing when it integrates faith and virtue. We must provide quality education that equips people for productive work, good citizenship, and a meaningful life. But education must also impart wisdom rooted in a biblical understanding of truth, morality, and purpose (Psalms 111:10). As President, I believe our nation must improve access to education at every level. We must also commit to educational excellence that prepares young people for the responsibilities of freedom, civic duty, family life, and faithful discipleship.
On National Security
Government has a solemn duty to protect its citizens (Romans 13:1-5). While we hope and work for peace, we must maintain our readiness in an uncertain world. Evil still threatens freedoms everywhere. So vigilance is needed to preserve liberty. Our national security policy must defend national sovereignty, secure our borders, counter threats from hostile powers, and confront terrorists seeking our harm. We should use military force only when necessary as a last resort (Matthew 5:9). But when force is needed to protect the innocent and uphold justice, it is justified (Romans 13:4). As President, I am committed to providing for the common defense, securing our borders, keeping the peace when possible, and defeating the forces of tyranny and terror that threaten innocents. We must be both idealistic in hope and realistic in response.
On Religious Freedom
The right to freely choose and live out one’s faith according to conscience is foundational to human dignity. The Bible assumes religious freedom, never imposing faith by coercion (John 20:31). All people have a God-given right to worship according to their beliefs without fear of persecution. Government’s role is to protect this freedom for all (Romans 13:3). While we may reasonably debate public policies, no one should face discrimination or harm due to their religious identity. As President, I am committed to defending the religious liberty of all people. Whether Christian, Jewish, Muslim, atheist, or any faith background, every person deserves to be treated with dignity, equity, and respect. Protecting freedom of conscience remains a guiding priority.
On Community
God designed us for community and relationships (Genesis 2:18). The Bible envisions society as an interdependent community where people find identity, support, and purpose in relationship with others. We are called to contribute our gifts for the common good (1 Corinthians 12:7). People of faith have a special role to play in doing good works that benefit communities (Titus 3:14). Government policies should empower local communities. When neighbors know and care for one another, communities thrive. So we must foster social cohesion through spaces that allow relationships to flourish. As President, I am committed to policies that strengthen families, schools, neighborhoods, and community organizations which weave us together into a society that reflects God’s design.
On Justice
The Bible envisions a just society where impartial laws protect the innocent, deter wrongdoing, and ensure restitution when harm is done (Leviticus 19:15). God despises injustice and commands His people to confront it (Isaiah 1:17). Those in power must rule justly, especially pursuing justice for the poor and defenseless (Psalms 82:3-4). To neglect justice is to abandon God’s law (Amos 5:24). So civil authority should enact and uphold laws aligned with moral truth and wisdom. As President, I am committed to defending the unborn, the disadvantaged, and all who are vulnerable to exploitation. I will appoint judges who respect our constitutional heritage and interpret the law according to original intent. Justice and liberty are safeguarded when just laws are impartially upheld.
This letter provides a biblical perspective on some of the most pressing issues of our time. Of course, God’s Word addresses many other important topics as well. My hope is that this overview encourages you to open your Bible and discover its timeless wisdom for yourself. Though written long ago, the Bible offers truth and guidance very relevant for today. It charts a wise path forward rooted in God’s love and justice. May we build a society that reflects the biblical values that have shaped our nation’s heritage and advanced civilization itself. The Bible offers enduring answers to life’s biggest questions. I invite you to read it for yourself.
Sincerely,
The President
