For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
Though we suffer and grow old, these verses urge us to not lose heart. Our inner spirit is renewed daily and our current afflictions are light and momentary compared to the eternal glory that awaits us in Heaven. We can fix our eyes on unseen, eternal truths to persevere.

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
